It was fun to enjoy as a family. The sushi was fresh and self-serve was great. We ate a ton of plates and they were consistently tasty. The ice cream and fried red bean donut was over the top, but totally worth it.
Dining here is a fun experience as the revolving belt has a screen you can order from. I can see kids really enjoying this place with the robots that bring the drinks over. there's usually a line so be prepared for that. I like to order online, pick it up and eat at home as it's pretty quick. The quality of the fish is sometimes on the iffy side.
Service 10/10 Food 6/10 Price - 4/10 The food here isn't exactly great for the price, but I usually come here just because my kid likes putting the place in and get a toy for it, other that... I would rather go to a Japanese restaurant that serves better quality sushi for the price. But service was pretty good for a belt sushi. Especially my daughter spilled her drink and the server came by to help clean up, gave her a new drink with a smile on his face still~
Kura is a great interactive sushi experience! I love being able to grab small plates and not commit to a whole roll. You can start eating as soon as you sit down. While it's not the highest quality sushi in the world, it's certainly of value to what you pay. Robot service is quick. Wait times can vary, so download the app and join the waitlist from there!
The food was very good, the robot service was just cute!!!! This was an amazing place, highly recommended.
I was totally surprised. During the pandemic I figured we'd never do a conveyor belt sushi place again. We heard this place was actually pretty good and decided to try it. Went at the height of the lunch crowd. Everything was turning over quickly and was very fresh. The yellow tail was better than a traditional sushi place we went to recently. Most items were really good, and I appreciated the variety. I also liked that you can do on demand ordering at your booth and not rely just on the belt. A couple rolls could have used more fish in them. The spicy scallop handball was very nice, and not stuffed with too much rice. Loved the crispy rice with crab. The eel (ordered, not belt) was great. Will definitely go again.
There used to be a really large hype back in 2022 when I ate here with a party of 6, but not for this visit. But this means I got to try everything that I wanted to quickly! I went with a party of 4 this time and got a seat pretty quickly for a Wednesday lunch. The entrance to the building is located inside a parking garage that is shared with a nearby PCC and several other businesses on the same floor and above. The parking gets really tight even on weekdays so I'd come early to snag a spot. As for the line to Kura, it can vary. Service was very interesting; it came from robots that go across tables to deliver your water. The inside has tons of booths but is small enough for the place to fill up very fast. The booths themselves are lined up close to the conveyor belt where all the food is, and you can either order your food using a small kiosk located near each table, or grab the food that's going around the conveyor belt. If you do order food from the kiosk, it comes sliding in from a separate section above your table for you to pick up. Every 15 plates gets you a gacha toy as well, so you can quickly rack up a hefty price for the food you get. Food quality overall was just all right, though my most favorites was the rainbow roll for the variety and freshness of the fish, the spicy popcorn shrimp roll for the extra spice kick and somewhat crunchy texture, and the eel roll for its overall taste. Most other plates we got (takoyaki, sesame balls) were regular things I usually get which were all right. Their Luffy's jumbo spicy roast beef nigiri wasn't too great as it consisted of far too much meat than rice, and the meat was hard. Their crispy squid dish was also hard to chew and was too salty for my party. This wasn't my best experience here, but I do love conveyor belt sushi places since I can grab whatever I want, even if the prices do quickly add up!
Had heard about a fun conveyor belt sushi spot in Bellevue so decided to check it out. We came here at like 3pm and the wait was about 50-80 min affording to their waitlist app, we decided to put our name down and do some shopping in the area first that we had planned to do and as we weren't so hungry. It ended up being an hour, the worker told me you have 15 min after your second text to come back. Anyways when we got back we were promptly seated. We hadn't been there before so the person who seated us explained the whole concept, showed us how to open the sushi stuff, how to order on the tablet, how to pay etc, how every 15 plates is a toy. We ordered two waters to start which was so fun to see. The sushi was really fun to pick and order. Overall everything was really good and service was fast, I'd def go back. I'd say it's pretty on par for conveyor belt sushi I've had but this is the first I've been to with the toys. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this spot or wait again unless someone else wanted to but it was super fun.
This place is great. The kids love it, the ambience is so modern and trendy especially if you love sushi and anime! It's a fun dining experience. They have a wide variety of sushi you can either grab from the conveyor belt or u can order specific rolls to your liking and choose from a wide variety of other dishes and appetizers. Service is pretty fast to and their touch screen keeps tab on the time your order will arrive. This place gets packed fast, we arrived right when it opened and there was already a line. Regardless it's definitely worth experiencing and the sushi is pretty good!
